This is a very quick growing variety, producing bright red stalks that can be harvested in the second year.
How to Sow and Grow Rhubarb
Sow ideally in March – April in a quality seed compost. Ideally sown one seed in each module. Grow the pots under cover and keep well watered. Plant out them out in the autumn or the following year. The plants like richly manured soils and is tolerant of semi shade. When the plants are strong and mature then you can start pulling the first harvest.
