Sow in trays from March onward. The seeds should be surface sown and covered with a thin layer of compost or vermiculite as they need light to germinate. Germination can be slow and the ideal temperature is 18C – 24C. Plant the seedlings up when the plants are large enough to handle and can be planted out after hardening off.

Pick sprigs as required, which can be dried. It should be kept clipped to promote bushy growth.
