Organic Aubergine – Black Beauty

It is a very popular variety that starts cropping early. It produces pear-shaped fruit up to 12cm in length with dark green calyx. This variety is ideal for growing under cover including cold greenhouse and poly tunnels.

Sow the seeds in modules, covering lightly with compost, from early spring onwards under glass at 20 – 25C. Prick off into individual pots as soon as full leaves have developed. Grow on in growbags or large pots. Plants may then be transplanted outdoors to a sunny, sheltered spot.
