Zinnia – Salmon Rose

This variety produces large flowers in a salmon pink colour and grows to a height of around 40-50cm. Unlike other Zinnias, these plants have a stronger root system than other Zinnias, which means they can be transplanted, making them more versatile for gardeners. They are ideal when planted en-masse in borders or containers.

Sow from March onwards in pots or module trays, covering lightly with compost or vermiculite. Keep at a temperature of 20-23C and do not exclude light to aid germination, which will take around 7-14 days. Plant young plants out after the last frost.
