Runner Bean – St George
This new red and white bi-coloured flower variety makes a striking addition to any garden. It moves early into production producing a high yield of medium to long pods.
Sow the seed indoors from mid April ready to plant out after the last frost. The seed can been sown in situ from May onwards. Generally allow 22cm between canes and 60cm between rows using canes to support the plants as they grow. To get a good harvest keep the plants well watered and feed on a regular basis. If you sow in situ plant some extra seed to fill gaps.
