Alpine Strawberry Fragaria vesca
This variety produces attractive small fruit, and it is especially attractive when used as a garnish. It is easy to grow and very hardy.
Sow from late February to April in pots or trays in a greenhouse at 16-18 C. When seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays and grow on. Gradually harden off and plant out from the end of May onwards.
